About

Originally an architect, now a framer for artists, I work from home near Midhurst where I undertake a wide range of picture framing related projects. I am fully insured, my facilities have the full range of framing equipment and I offer safe storage of your work. In the past I have been asked to frame anything from tennis racquets to shoes and stretch many large artists canvases and can make display plinths to suit your needs. As an artist myself I know how important it is to find the right solution to display your creations. I hope that by having this back ground I can find a great solution. No job is too big or too small and I really enjoy a challenge!

I work on an appointment basis at home which are usually in the morning between 10am-1pm. I also offer a personal service where I come to your home to discuss your needs as my samples are fully mobile and I am also happy to give you a no-obligation quotation on the work at your home but I do have price restrictions on distance. If I have not got anything that suits then I research what is available elsewhere to find the best solution. Turnaround is usually 2-3 weeks but can do emergency repairs and mounts if required for an extra fee, just ask.

I am also insured to install your work or your pictures at home (at a height no more than 2.5m) and can advise on placement and hanging systems.

With reference to framing, I use conservation methods and materials and ensure preservation is the order of the day! I do not scrimp on materials and only use the best. Picture framing does not have to be overly expensive and there are simple affordable solutions to most presentations however an IKEA frame may be sufficient for some people but if you want to display your work to its best advantage then a professional touch does make a huge difference and declares quite simply how you feel about your work!
